Description:

1967 Porsche 912

OVERVIEW
This car was previously converted to 911 specs with a 1974 2.7L and 915 transaxle. I subsequently added SC front suspension with 3" Boge struts to allow the installation of a TRE Motorsports Brake upgrade kit. It also has a 930 front fender mounted oil cooler and 5 gauge cluster as well as 911SC front and rear seats.
The body panels, wheels and tires, and brakes were more than the starting bid.
BODY
The body panels are all from Rennspeed. The hood, front bumper, front R fenders, front ST flares, rear ST flares, rear bumper, and engine lid are all from them. It comes with the "R" tailights and front markers and turn signals. It has a center fill gas tank and the left fender gas door has been patched with fiberglass. Have the RS style rubber hold downs for engine lid and front trunk. All panel bonding was with 3M panel adhesive and West System Epoxy was used for fiberglass work. The primer is BASF designed to be used with the "Glasurit" paint I have.
They body shell is solid. There are some poorly done floor patches, but they are solid. The rockers and front and rear suspension points are good. The doors are complete, but disassembled. I have paint mixed by Glasurit (now owned by BASF) in the original Sand Beige color.
WHEELS/TIRESThe wheels are Group 4 Campagnolos 8x15 front and 9x15 rear. The tires are TB5 Michelins from Coker Tire Front: 18/60 R 1, Rear: 23/62 R 15. The tires and wheels were purchased last year and have never been used on the road.
BRAKESThe master cylinder is the Mercedes model suggested (by Pelican) to go with the brake kit from TRE Motorsports. The kit uses rebuilt Boxster calipers and SC rotors. The master cylinder, brake lines, rotors, and pads are new.
SUSPENSIONFront has been upgraded to 3" Boge struts and SC A arms. The rear has Elephant Racing quick change/ adjustable spring plates.
TRANSMISSION/ENGINEThe transmission shifts through all gears with no noise and is a 1974 915 and shafts. I drove the car last year before I started the body work.
The car had a 2.7 so all the supporting parts are still there (Bosch fuel pump, fuel filter console, wiring, oil tank, cooler and lines, etc.) I removed the engine to upgrade and sold it. I realize I will never finish the project and did not locate a replacement engine prior to coming to this decision.
INTERIORHave door panels, 5 gauge cluster, and Patrick Motorsports powder coated roll cage. It has not been mounted and is simply sitting in the car. Has SC front and rear seats in good shape.
NEW PARTSBody panels, brake master cylinder, rotors, brake lines, bumper to body gaskets, taillights, front markers/indicators, fuel tank filler, wheels, tires, roll bar.
NEEDS
It needs an engine, windshield, one quarter window, carpet, body work finished.
I have a clear Florida title in hand. I can assist with loading and can place all parts inside the vehicle for shipping. I am glad to work with your agent to assist with export and overseas sales. Foreign buyers accepted.
