BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
1986 944 5 spd - Alpine white - original paint -wine
The car is very clean and straight and in touched. Just been a weekend
driver car most of the last several yrs.
I hear an exhaust leak, sounds like maybe the manifold gasket. We
dont drive it enough to bug me, but it should be done soon.
Interior isnt bad, a little dusty in areas, and the driver seat has most
of the wear n tear. With a nice detail it would look better of course.
New strut for the hatch and I also installed new plastic anti rattle clips
in the latches. Havent bolted the latches back on yet, I may do that this
week. Tires in decent shape and the factory alloy rims are really nice.
Sunroof works :) Very original and unmolested inside and out.
A real blast to drive, these cars are so well engineered.

DRIVETRAIN: the factory 4 cyl Porsche drivetrain is
under the hood matted to the manual 5 spd trans. I believe it to
be original matching #s of sorts survivor car. Starts
runs and drives fine. Very clean under the hood and
alot of the proper maintenance has been dealt with over
the last 25+ yrs of 2nd ownership.? The last owner said the timing
belt and a few other things where taken care of at about 100k.
AC blows, but not cold, not sure what exactly it will need. But
nothing was removed from the car as the AC goes.
Either way, the motor runs well and the trans shifts fine too.
Factory 16" phone dial wheels are in nice shape, and tires are too.

INTERIOR: take a look, Az heat has done some heat and
normal wear n tear damage. Dash has some cracks from
the Az heat, but front seats and most of the interior is
actually in good shape. Think I saw some rust around the battery
box under the hood, but nothing horrible.
PW car and has factory AC too. Zero rust on the floors and
or rockers. 127k on the odometer, shows original miles
on the AZ title. Remember its still needs some work here
too. Power window, seats and sunroof all working.

EXTERIOR:the body and paint in very nice shape esp for
its age. It was garaged most of its life. It could probably use
a nice detail, buff and wax job to look even better. Headlights
work fine and all the gaps look like oem.
Nothing screams 80s Porsche then Alpine white !! Best color
ever on these cars.

SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal and very original
for its age. 4 wheel factory Disc all around is
all there and accounted for. I see normal wear n tear at best
and OEM components where they belong too.
I See zero signs of any rust or rot. Struts feel like original and a
little soft, but car still handles like its on rails. This car puts a
smile on my face everytime I drive it. Brakes also feel amazing.
