Very Rare Porsche 550 Spyder Buck

The Murphy Auto Museum in Oxnard is selling a Porsche wooden buck. A buck is a silhouette instrument, made of hardwood, used to hand shape individual body pieces in the making of a car. This particular buck is made in the form of a Porsche 550 Spyder and was used by a local builder to shape and form body panels for replica Spyders. The 550 is frequently reproduced with many companies specializing in their building; powerplants are usually VW, Porsche of Alfa Romeo engines.This unique piece was donated many years ago and now it is time to find its next owner so the museum can make space for other things. If you are a Porsche collector or enthusiast, this Porsche buck would be a nice addition to your collection. It would fit nicely into a garage next to a real Porsche, or in a man cave, or in a workshop or maybe a car themed restaurant. A metal apparatus has been built into the buck for ease of moving.
