1968 Porsche 912 PROJECT, slate grey euro
1968 Porsche 912
PROJECT. Will require body work. Some welding has been done. Nearly all new metal parts from Restoration Design are included in sale.Clean, clear title in my name.
Original Slate Grey over tan. A Germany/Sweden delivery car.
I removed undercoating and paint by hand, then had car blasted to remove areas I couldn't get to.
Body has new inner and outer rockers installed. New floorpan installed. New rear rail (inner, middle, and outer).
Front suspension has been restored. New bushing included. Pedal cluster, gauges, ebrake, shifter, every bit of rubber restored.
I worked on this car 2.5 years. It comes with a lot done, a ton of spare parts, new parts, all bolts have been cleaned and ready for plating.
New: headlight glass, turn signal lenses, a few seals, metal replacement panels, two extra doors, horn grills,
Original five speed AFMSX transmission.
Engine has been disassembled and inspected by Professional Mechanic. He said it was excellent. Engine has never been rebuilt. Crank will need to be reground. Heads are perfect. I spent eighteen hours restoring each carb. They look fantastic.
Car is 99 percent complete. Missing steering wheel, some engine tin pieces. A few other random parts. Exhaust. One front quarter window was accidentally broken.
Car is on a dolly for easy transport.
Car is for sale globally. I reserve the right to end auction at any time if a buyer steps forward in another arena.
Genuine Fuchs are available separately. I also have Maestro book, owner's manual, and a few other books for car we can discuss if you like.
Car is located in Hot Springs, Arkansas. 71913. I'm willing to assist in loading and shipping if you hustle to get it done. Everything is packed up safely and ready to roll.
I have no feedback because I got divorced. Hence new account. Wife got the eBay account. We had 100 percent positive feedback. You can text me at+15015389827 and I'll call you if you'd like to discuss. There's really far too much to list. It was difficult to choose which photos to display. There's good and bad about the car but a competent welder will have no problems.
I believe that I've set the reserve price fairly. Best of luck!
I require an immediate deposit of 1,000 at auction end.

I've decided to include all of the Fuchs. They are genuine and have 901 part numbers. I spent time with them. They're straight and clean. Not perfect but look great. I bought these wheels based on Grady Clay's advice to run a wider, lower profile tire. This will make the car handle. This arguement is further supported by Paul Frere, who had access to factory data.
15X7s on all four corners. So tires can be rotated easily.
I set out to build a super fun car to drive that got great mpg. Had no computer to malfunction. All repairs and maintenance can be done easily. 30 mpg or more is possible by lightening the car. So I was going to put non-period correct wheels and tires as a matter of function and tire size. I am a person who is good at research and homework and am confident that if you go with this setup you'll like it. Don't just sell them off for period correct before you try it unless you just want to polish the car with a diaper.
All glass is genuine Sekurit. It's not perfect but good enough.
There's an extra fender (for repair only). Extra Rocker.
New OEM hood seal.
All parts are genuine Porsche OEM.

The wiring harness and electrical is in spectacular condition. I inspected every inch, and I restored rubber to like new condition. In fact, rubber is restored across the car.
Vinyl looks great. Original door cards are present and useable in very good condition.Someone cut speaker holes, and frankly, I'm just glad I live in the same era as Jimmy Page.
