Gorgeous and well preserved 1979 911 SC in Ivoryover Brown Leather interior. This 911 SC has been locally owned and very well cared forby the same owner since March of 1990. The most recent owner purchased the car from Fogg's Porsche+ Audi Specialist with 70,960 miles on the odometer and hasdriven less than 11,000 miles since.The exterior and interiorof the 911 show extremely well with very little wear on the interior seats and handled surfaces. It's speculated the car was painted inthe current Ivory color from the original Opal Metallicduring Fogg's brief ownership in1989at which time thewheel center sectionswere painted to match.
The previous owner suppliedservice records with the car dating back to the original ownerfrom Texasin 1979 through a very recent major service performed by our own Factory Trained Porsche Classic Technicians. The recent major service included Oil and Filter Change, New Spark Plugs, New Belts, New Air Filter, Valve Adjustment, Ignition Timing Adjustment, and Idle Speed Adjustment. During the service workbeing performed we replaced brake lines, oil return tubes,installed a new fuel tank, replaced all 4 tires, and performed a compression test. The car drives very well with lots of power and thetransmission shifts smooth throughall gears. The results of the compression test are as follows:
Cylinder 1 - 160psi
Cylinder 2 - 165psi
Cylinder 3 - 160psi
Cylinder 4 - 160psi
Cylinder 5 - 155psi
Cylinder 6 - 165psi
The 911 comes with Owners Manual,Maintenance Booklet,Spare Tire, Tool Kit, andPrevious Ownership Service Records. The car is very complete with the original air pump and A/C compressor installed, the A/C system iscurrently not functional.
