Starting with a rust free Arizona car, this 356 A was fully restored over the last ten years in the classic outlaw style. The car was taken down to a bare shell and painted in single stage enamel at a local restoration shop to a high standard. A rare aluminum Carrera deck lid was fitted at this time. The body and paint is presented in a stunning L90E light beige color. The Claret red interior, featuring Speedster seats, was completely refreshed by Scotty at Stuttgart upholstery in Phoenix, another vintage Porsche specialist. Transmission is a 716 with BBAB gears, the engine is a 1969 912 with 500 miles on a complete rebuild. All new braking system, later ZF steering box and B spindles. 15x5 inch Technomagnesio Italian wheels, 165-15 Vredestein Sprint tires.
