1990 Porsche 911

1990 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.
I bought in 2009 with 84,500 miles. Only driven 18k miles in last 9 years.Love this car but need less stuff in my life that I don't use. Going through a period of simplifying. Air cooled engine just not optimal for the super hot summers where I live either.Always garaged. Always serviced by the top local European auto shop.
Just after I bought it I had engine removed and factory dictated valve modification done. From work order:" Perform six cylinder valve job replace and hone all valve guides, surface and modify cylinder heads for TSB update # 9202, modify and install updated valve stem seals. "New piston cylinder set was $5,336 just in parts.Just about everything that could be replaced/upgraded was at that time as long as the engine was apart anyway. Not cheap and I'm led to believe the cylinder work is a critical upgrade, so might be worth mentioning before someone asks if it has been done or not.
Disclosures:1) Pistons on both hood and boot don't hold. I have a new set for one of them but haven't quite figured out how to install. Included of course.2) No more than the reasonable dings and wear for 102k car. Only truly bad spot on interior is the leading edge of the drivers seat where you rub it getting in and out.3) At one point the passenger side key cylinder pulled out. Was simply a loose screw and easily fixed but the tiny ball bearing that actuates the power locks fell out. (I am a locksmith by trade by the way). I searched high and low for a replacement ball bearing but could not find the perfect sized one. Minor matter as the key will still lock and unlock that door, it just won't cycle the power locks to do both doors.
Also: Recommend battery minder if it will sit for long periods.
That's about it. When I was 40 years old it was a dream car come true for me. Now I have other dreams more important and that take up less room in my garage. Have struggled for a couple years over selling it but it's time.
I have never sold a car on EBay so I assume interested buyers can field questions to me as needed.
Car is located in Redding Ca and buyer is responsible for transportation. There is a good place here locally I can recommend.
