1972 911E targa Signal Yellow
1972 Porsche 911 72E, Signal Yellow #114
This is a 1972 911E targa project, originally in Signal Yellow, color code #114. The car is an original Euro model with great options. It originally had through-the-grill driving lights, and the brackets are still present behind the horngrills. It also has its original steel S spoiler. The car was last running in 2013 and had been sitting ever since. It was repainted red at some point, however the original Signal yellow paint is clearly peeping under throughout the body of the car. The car has an original 2.4E engine but can't confirm if matching.The body is quite solid with minimal rust. The floors and front pan are still all original, never replaced or welded. A 2.4E Targa like this in desirable colors and options give this car big upside potential. An identical car just sold at Gooding & Co in Monterey a few weeks ago for $150k.
