For those that do not know in 1980 Porsche produced 400 tribute cars to the Porsche research and development center located in Weissach Germany.The cars were only sold to the United State, they came in two exclusive exterior colors,Platinum Metallic or Black Metallic.They both featured identical interiors of Doric Gray full leather,rust carpets,Sport seats with piping.The exterior featured a Carrera style rear spoiler,front chin spoiler,15x6 and 15x7 forged alloys painted in platinum metallic with a standard sunroof.
This example is a two owner,accident free,rust free car with a strong,solid,run and drive.The car is void of door dings and rock chips.The tires are new.The car recently received a major service,the engine appears to be void of oil leaks.The synchros are good in every gear,the clutch feels strong.The interior of the car still looks new with the original radio still in place,all gauges are in perfect condition and work as designed.The headliner is in good condition as is all glass and rubber sills.The car comes with its original manuals.
