1988 911 (930) Turbo now running on a European 3.2 engine & transmission.

I just love the look & stance of this 911 ! As you can see, t is stunning as it sits with its wide original Turbo fenders and Turbo tail delete. Really gorgeous and it always attracts lots of attention from bystanders and Porsche people alike.
It was bought by a well known local Porsche restoration specialist & painter, ho sold it to me once it was properly repaired. This car was involved in a rollover at slow speed in early 2008. Insurance totaled the car even though the damage was fairly light.
During the rebuilt, he original and “tricked out” Turbo motor and transmission were taken out and re-used into another 930. In its place, as installed a 3.2 engine & transmission from a super clean 1985 European 911.

Over time, verything was looked over and fixed or replaced, he Turbo tail was removed and the Euro 3.2 motor & transmission installed.
It was then used sporadically but regularly having participated in several PCA social events, s well as driven long distance without a single issue. Please note that the 69K miles shown on the odometer are original to this car.
With the exception of the motor & transmission, ll the Turbo components were left on the car, ncluding suspensions, enders, tc.. The car even has excellent working AC.
The car starts, dles and pulls strong all the way, hifting is typical Porsche and brakes are powerful. Lots of fun driving this 911 !

When looking at the car, ne would be hard pressed to notice this 911 was repaired at any point. All of the gaps & alignments are factory precise. The doors, runk lid and hood close & latch perfectly. The doors even still have the familiar Porsche “ping”.

I recently obtained a rebuilt title from the Florida Dpt of Motor Vehicle after 2 thorough inspections by State employees. They were amazed the car retained its original wide fenders, y the quality of the paint as well as with the underneath since the car had absolutely NO structural damage. The car’s shell was absolutely not touched during repairs. All the welding points in the trunk and engine bay areas are factory correct. There is no metal waving I could see anywhere under the hoods and by the suspension points. Most of all, he body is laser straight.

Now, here are a few minor details left to be done (dome light bulb, arking brake, tc.) which I will take care of before delivery of the car to its new owner.

Although this 911 presents and drives exceptionally well, lease do not expect a new car (that is why new car dealers are in business !), ut a stunning looking air cooled Porsche that drives great and turns head where ever it goes.

We will not disclose our reserve price. This Porsche is quite unique and rest assured that we took the car’s history into consideration, o we are not asking crazy money here …
