This a 1978 Porsche 911SC which has just come out of a nine year dry storage. This is a European model with higher horsepower than the USA version. The odometer reads 244,084 kilometers (not miles). It is not currently running and will need some re-commissioning. The engine does turn over by hand. It is white with a black interior. It is equipped with the following: European H4 headlights, headlight washers, front and rear spoilers, an '84 through '89 front valance with the later (much better looking) factory fog lights, front oil cooler, power windows, and left and right power side view mirrors. It also has eight inch wide Fuchs rear wheels. All wheels are 16 inch diameter and are in excellent condition with absolutely no curb rash. I have not been able to find any rust on the car. The paint is very good with a few very minor paint chips, the largest is smaller than a pencil eraser. I was told that it had a top end engine rebuild but do not have any documentation. Everything appears to be in very good condition. The interior with the exception of a wear spot on the drivers floor carpet heel pad is very good to excellent. The headliner is black. There are no dashboard cracks. The car is being sold as is, as shown with no warranty or guaranty. The state of Maine will not title a car made before 1991 and therefor it is being sold on a Maine State registration and a bill of sale. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due via PayPal within 48 hours of the close of the auction. The balance is due within seven days of the close of the auction. The balance must be paid for either by bank transfer or by cash upon pickup. Sorry but due to the proliferation of forged bank checks I will not accept checks of any type. I can store the car inside for up to two weeks after the close of the auction as long as the above payment schedule is met.
