1966 Porsche 912, with original engine/transmission. THREE dial

1966 Porsche 912

This 1966 3 dial 912 is in obvious need of restoration but there is plenty of stock metal to provide for restoration. I have pictured best I could the extent of the rust. I fully intended restoring this 912 because it retains all its original parts except brake calipers. We are moving so it needs to go unfortunately. The original owner was from midland Michigan. Drove it until the late 70s and parked it because of the left front suspension broke. It sat a running car. All the engine transmission parts are still in the car. Interior is pictured. Not pictured are the center wheel caps, in good condition, not dented. Not all 912s but this 912 did have the wood dash overlay the dials, its pictured on the original rubber mats. I heavily investigated the rear torque bar tube for rust damage. The tube is Solid, which provides a lot of relief to the restorer, no part of the rear suspension tube needs repair. I did not remove the vin tag, previous owners nefew did in prep for reatoring but didnt do much other than rip out the interior and unfortunately the tag too. The vin tag is pictured, i do not have the door jam tag. Sorry. That is the original color. All tires hold air and moving the car to a trailer isn't to difficult, all rolls freely except that fron left wheel with the suspention breakage.
