1966 Porsche 912 Coupe Project, VIN 451678 - NO RESERVE
This is a very early 912, built in 1965 for the early '66 model year. It has a number of very early characteristics, including washer bottle mounted in the passenger fender, four hole horn grill, and early solid chrome back bumperettes. Three-gauge dash that has had two additional gauges added at some point. One fender was replaced with a 2-hole grill at some point. The original paint was Code 6602 Polo Red.
The car has significant rust. Please look at all of the photos to see the extent of the rust repair this car will need. It's rusty. Most of the interior appears to be there. The original engine is gone, and it has a 912 industrial engine included as a starting point for a very strong engine. The engine is only hung in place, not in any way installed. Please look into the popularity of converting a 912 industrial engine for car use.
When back on the road, you'll have a very early 912 in beautiful Polo Red. It's being offered at no reserve, so if you want it, it's yours.
