This beautiful,solid,strong driving 911 SC is a feel good car.Occasionally one obtains a car that just has that feel good factor,created from a solid car that feels well sorted and everything works as designed and does it well.This R.O.W. example of an SC Targa hails from a large European car collection.I bought several cars from the 83 year old owner,this was the one of several that I was able to insert key and car started immediately after sitting for a spell.The car not only stated but without a puff of smoke and engine had that sewing machine smoothness,it was quiet and tight.The transmission is as tight with good synchros,tight bushings and tight shifts.Marry a good engine,a good transmission with a tight solid suspension and you get that wonderful Porsche 911 feel.
The paint on the car is good as pictures reflect,the interior is puffy in the seats and tight with all components.The carpets and Targa top are in excellent condition,as is all the glass.The body is straight with good factory straight panel gaps and straight panels.
The engine is dry,void of leaks.I was so confident of the dry engine I parked a black 911 under the car while it was on the lift,left it parked there for several days,no leaks on the Porsche parked below it!
