Description:
1989 Porsche 944
Putting up for sale my 1989 Porsche 944 S2 with 1986 Turbo engine/gearbox installed. It runs great and will make an extremely fun track/street car. I've done quite a lot of maintenance/upgrades on it over the past couple of years, but drive it very rarely. It's a very straight car with no signs of previous accident damage and no rust. Weight is 2780lbs with 1/2 tank of fuel. The only real issue is with the windshield wipers - they will work all day at idle, but the fuse blows over bumps. I've replaced the motor with a low-mile unit and same symptom. Will continue to try and troubleshoot. The car is a great 10-footer, as you can see from the pictures, but has its fair share of superficial blemishes up close, including a couple of dents on the roof.I've been building this car as a HPDE track day car (never actually got to take it to a trackday), and was collecting parts to do an LS swap. Consequently, I am selling in 3 different packages - the car itself, spare OEM parts and misc, and LS swap parts. This auction only covers the car itself. I will not separate items at this time.
