The car is a 1959 Reuters body cabriole, this car was acquired from an estat, it has been in storage for around 40 years. The person who owned this car worked for the local Porsche dealer which is no longer in business, she bought it there new. The original engine was removed for reasons unknow, the original engine comes with the ca, the engine is complete and turns over with no problem. Car was running when it was put into storage.The engine that's in car is from 1961 35, slightly more horsepower. The engine in car also easily turns over. I do not know if the original was replaced because of issues or for an engine upgrade. Both engines come with car. The body lines are very good and so are the gaps of doors, engine and front boot . The car needs a complete restoratio, the floors need to be replaced. There is rot thru on several areas of floo, at some point it appears someone did some basic repair and then added ziebart or similar product so its hard to tell full extent of floor rust.The original car color was blue then painted with current color. Once again the floors need to be replaced which as you know are readily available and there are many qualified shops that do it. I did not try to start the car as I didn't see the need to., whoever buys this car I'm sure would want to rebuild the original and probably sell the extra. The body panels seem to have some rust at bottom of panels but the rest seem pretty good. All chrome would have to be redone as I'm sure someone would do anyway on a complete restoration . Everything on car is original I believe mileage to be accurat, car comes with original owners manual and quite a bit of books and manuals including receipts with stamped service manual.
