The car is a very rare color that was special order only in 86’. The paint is all original. The wheels are the original as well and have been recently refinished. The car has fresh Bridgeston RE-71 Tires, hese are the best performers in dry/wet tires for the 16” wheels. The cars suspension has been replaced for a proper ride and safety.

Bilstein Sport shocks in the rear and comfort in front gives the best balance between road feel that is not too firm or too soft. Instead of just repairing the CV joints I had the axles replaced. Lowered to European Ride Height, ith a alignment setup for performance driving, nd corner balanced for a drivers weight of 185 pounds. The stance is further refined with the addition of rear wheel spacers. The wheel bearings were also replaced.

The OEM brakes lacked the stopping power I was accustomed to from driving modern GT3’s. Rather then just upgrade to 930 brakes, wanted to take it a step further and got a big brake kit with some custom fabrication done to fit the factory wheels. The rotors are much larger then factory as well. Steel brake lines have been added with PFC pads and the best possible brake fluid Castrol SRF.

The exhaust system has been completely replaced with new pipes and gaskets. Starting with Euro George’s headers (known for making the most power), at Delete Straight pipes, nd M&K GT3 Style Center Exhaust (2in 2 out). With this setup you’d be surprised at just how good the car sounds; zero drone, nd not too loud at full throttle. I have to mention with the addition of the headers the car currently does not have heat. Heater components will be included in the sale. Also to add to performance and maximize gains from the exhaust system the car has a custom performance chip done by Steve Wong from 911chips. The spark plugs were just replaced along with new wires and distributor cap.

Being a Florida Car (from 86 to now) I had the air conditioning system upgraded and it will keep you cool up to 90 degrees! Worn hoses were replaced, “pro cooler” was added, new compressor, nd the system runs on a R12 substitute. A Keuhl air vent was also added for a little more flow.

The most crucial connection between man and car is in the cabin; the steering wheel and shifter. The steering wheel has been replaced with a Momo Prototipo wheel. It isn’t just a visual improvement, ut a performance enhancement. The leather embossed Porsche Crest horn button completes the look. The factory shifter was vague and uninspiring. I had that replaced with a Rennshift kit. It gives the shifter a much more modern defined feel. There is no searching for gears. Its a positive feel when engaging gears. All of the bushings have been replaced, he coupling, ngine & transmission mounts, nd the gearbox oil as well. This is the best 915 you will come across. I have driven G50’s that don't feel as good!

The seats have been replaced with custom ordered full leather Recaros that were produced in their factory in Germany. They are the specialist S seats and are extremely comfortable. The seat belts are Shroth 4 point harnesses. They are very easy to put on, ll you have to do is buckle the lap belt once they are adjusted. The lap belts are bolted to the base of the car and the shoulder straps are anchored to the Brey Krause harness bar. In a car with no air bags this is a extremely safe setup. With all of the work done, o corners were cut when it comes to safety. The floor mats are custom ordered coco mats. A dead pedal or foot rest has also been added.

As good as the exhaust system sounds, hen you are cruising on the highway you want to be able to enjoy some music. I put in a new alpine head unit that has bluetooth handsfree, luetooth audio, nd a USB cable. All four speakers were replaced with matched alpine speakers. In addition J&L tweeters and a lightweight kenwood subwoofer hides under the passenger seat. With this head unit you can change equalizer settings from your smartphone or ipad. There is also a single disc CD player.

Custom Door light weight door panels wrapped in leather and stitched too look factory really add to the experience of the car. The door pulls are leather straps that gives you the feeling you are stepping out of something really special, hich you are. Other weight savings include, ear seatback delete, eat delete, ecaro seats, nd lighter exhaust system.

Two sets of keys, riginal spare, nd manual are also included. In addition the car is hard wired for a valentine one radar detector. A cup holder has been added as well.

The cars performance is excellent. Between the handling, raking, cceleration, t has it all to go with the looks. The engine and gearbox are perfect. Valve adjustment recently done and leak down test. Oil Consumption is less then a quart per thousand miles, hich is very good. This is a car ready for a buyer that wants a classic with added performance and comfort that doesn’t want to worry about anything. This car will NOT let you down and WILL start every time. If you are use to modern Porsches an original one will not do it for you. This is the car for you.
