Exterior: This car still retains most of its original black paint. There are some areas where it is showing its age. The paint on the deck lid is not original and was not done by a professional. There are several chips, scratches, dings dents etc scattered amongst the car. This car shows no signs of any accidents. All of the doors, hood, engine lid open and close properly. This car is a solid rust free example with no rust in the hell hole, battery box etc. Overall this is a solid chassis.

Interior: The interior is in very nice shape. The seats are in excellent shape and appear to have been restored by a professional recently. It is complete with all working gauges, lights, and electrical. The radio is missing.

Engine/Transmission: This car starts right up and sounds great. It runs smoothly and shifts through its gears.

Wheels/suspension/brakes: This car is fitted with real original Fuchs wheels with new tires They are in good shape and are complete with center caps. The cars brakes do hang up a bit, however this car has not been driven regularly so it may just need some normal driver to allow them to operate smoothly.

Overall: This is a great chance to own a factory 2.0 914. This car does look sharp, however as stated earlier could use a repaint. Please let me know if you have any questions.

On Nov-07-17 at 11:02:03 PST, seller added the following information:

I have been asked by several bidders if the car is ready to be driven. I took it for a short drive around the block and I would NOT drive this car with the brakes in their current state. They appear to hang up and should be looked at prior to a drive.

In addition, the shift coupler(which is new with new bushings) should be adjusted so the car can gosmoothly into all of its gears.

I hope this helps.
Thanks,

Brad
