1956 Porsche Speedster widebody replica by Classic Motor Carriages. Built off a 1971 Volkswagen Super Beetle with a four speed transmission and a 1600cc engine with dual carberators. Car runs and drives well, manual transmission is smooth as well as good brakes and tires. Engine does drip a tiny bit of oil when sitting, but I'm told that is the way you check the oil on these older air cooled Motors..... I also have the original CMC build manual as well as the original front and rear bumpers and support brackets.
I do not know when the car was painted, but It looks great and is a complete head turner. There is a couple scratches and a few paint blemishes as a suspect it's an older build, see the pictures provided:
I have a clean state of Illinois title in hand that is listed as a Volkswagen Beetle.
