1974 Porsche 911 79k Original Miles

This is a 1974 Porsche 911 Targa with 79,000 original miles. This is a beautiful summer car which turns heads wherever you go.

The car was painted to a very high glass out standard a few years ago with added discreet flares. The paint is in stunning condition with no apparent dents or scratches. All chrome around the car is original and in beautiful condition. The Fuchs wheels show no signs of curb rash and show well. All glass is in very good condition

Structurally the car is solid and straight as an arrow with zero rust This car has by far the cleanest unmolested trunk and front pan I have ever seen. Please look at the picture. You will not even find a spot of dirt in it. When removing the trunk carpet you will also see the original wax that Porsche sprayed in the inner trunk walls. Original spare wheel included and never used. Also included is an original Porsche air pump.

The carburetted engine starts up right away; has good sound and pulls very strong. I understand that the engine was exchanged in the past, but I do not know the reason. Engine number is 6290176. Transmission shifts very sooth through all 5 gears as well as reverse. Recent oil and filter change was done.

The interior of the car is in stunning original condition. Very nice original dashboard without any cracks - also speaker grill has no cracks. Original seats have no rips and show basically no wear. Carpet is in perfect condition. Door pockets are good for this age. The wiper switch just broke unfortunately. The radio was replaced with a new updated one. I will also mention the sunvisors were taken off for a "sunvisor delete" look.

All in all this is a very beautiful classic early 74' 911 Targa in stunning silver with nice black interior. These midyears have been long forgotten but enthusiasts are starting to realize how similar these cars are to the early 911s- being just as nimble, visceral, and having that direct-input-driving that the early 911s have. And I'll add that the later (and heavier) 911s lack these characteristics. And as a bonus, midyears are half the price of its older relatives for the same amount of fun! Feel free to come and have a look at the car in person. Please remember that this is a 40 year old car and will be sold "as is". Please feel free to ask any questions you have.
