1958 Porsche 356 Speedster Replica by Classic Motor Carriages Inc., 9K miles since kit was completed. Kit was purchased in 1981, but not assembled until 2005. Registered as a 1968 so you can run antique plates. No emissions issues to deal with. 2100CC Type 1 VW race motor modified with case savers, solid billeted crank, cams, and bigger valves, heads were also modified ported and polished. Twin Dellorto carbs with Bosch electronic ignition. Motor pushes out approximately 140HP compared to original speedster at 60HP and runs awesome. Additional suspension components added, thicker sway bars, steel frame, etc so car handles like it's on rails. All OEM Porsche trim items, rims, headlight bezels, seat belts, with Nardi signed steering wheel. Convertible top is under snap cover. I also have the side plexiglass windows as well as a spare set of exhaust and some small items like extra mirrors and lenses. Have paperwork from the build and manuals, etc. Car has original gel coat primrose color so it looks like the real deal.
