A genuine 1965 car model with a 3 gauge color matched painted dash, the 397th 912 car built by Karmann.
The car runs great with brand new tires.Rebuilt brakes, engine rebuild, 5 speed 1970 911 transmission, rebuilt differential and new shocks.The shock mounts are theearly, non-adjustable, single mount bolt type.The engine is a VW 2110 cc kit built on a type 2 engine. All the mechanical work was done 4000 miles ago with receipts available. The car does have rust. The floor pans have been replaced, but the car does need further rust repair as seen in the pictures.The doors have minimum rust on the bottom edge. This car has the early gas lid release and the early windshield washer mount on the inner right fender. Other than the right front fender the rest of the car looks to be original. Except for the windshield all the glass is the correct original.The original color was Polo Red and is now painted in white.
Four of the wheels are correct date stamped with the fifth is a 1967 wheel.The seats look to be original with the correct weave. The mileage indicated of 1537miles is not accurate.
This car would make the perfect candidate for a person looking to have an early 1965 912 with the correct original body parts.
