Porsche was known to build special cars for their executives. In 1989 two special Turbo Cup cars were assembled. This vehicle is # 1 of 2 Factory Turbo Cup Racing series cars. The car was original built for Peter Schmitz, VP of Racing, the vehicle final assemble was January 13, 1989, the vehicles was air freighted to the United States and delivered to Mr. Schmitz in Lynnfeild, MA on May 23, 1989. Mr. Schmitz retained possession of this car until August 24, 1990, at that date possession was transferred to Michael Love Compliance/Legal director of PCNA. In 1994 the vehicle was sold to an individual in Chicago. This was technically was the first owner of this vehicle. PCNA retained ownership of this vehicle until that point. The Window sticker stated “NOT FOR SALE”. The vehicle was modified at the factory to produce 300bhp.
