After meeting the doctor at his home and spending the day with him prior to sale, it was plain to see that this car held a treasured place in his life, and letting go was a painful choice, bred of necessity. Although he had fastidiously cared for his Targa for over 35 years, he unfortunately did not save his service records. However, after inspection, the current quality and condition of the vehicle speaks volumes for the level of care it was given. It has never seen a winter day, and was dutifully garaged for 8 months of the year throughout its lifetime. Original paint and targa top are in excellent condition, with only a few minor rock chips on the front bumper, which are to be expected, and which have not been repainted so as to maintain the status of 100% original.
