This 1966 Porsche 911 Coupe has gone through some transformations… Chassis number 303411 this car started birth in red and was a base coupe delivered to the US. Since then the car has been completely torn down to the body and completely re-done in a 77 era coupe. The engine was replaced with a 2.7l twin carb engine with cam tension oilers…the original engine was lost some years ago unfortunately. When the car was completely disassembled there was some rust to contend with, all the rust repairs were performed using sheet metal and not filler. The Interior remains mostly original, the original seats, dash insert and heater is all still with the car. The car is now wearing original “S” calipers. The gauges are original and were sent out to Pal Alto Speedometer for complete restoration. We have priced out the cost to take this car back to a true 66’ 911, and the cost is less than one would think!
