This is a 00026 vin # this is the 26th coupe car builtYou are looking at a true barn find, This car spent all of it's life in California,This 1978 Porsche 911 sunroof coupe with a all steel 930 Turbo Body with 99,678 original miles, The motor and transmission are matching #'s to the car, motor # 6580097 (see pictures) this car has no rust at all, very dry car. it has been sitting in a garage since 1997 in California, The fuel pump stopped working and the owner had it towed to his house and it sat there from 1997 till 04/25/16 when I purchased it from the original owners wife.When the car was towed in 1997 the front spoiler was damaged (see pictures) needs to be replaced. Since then I put new tires on the car, buffed out the paint, cleaned the interior, all the seats came out like new with not one rip or tear and no fading, dash is in perfect condition, both door panels are in good shape but both need new interior lock handles (see picture) both speakers are missing, the drivers side is missing some other parts on the panel, the interior headliner needs to be replaced (see picture) driver side power window switches are missing so the windows are not working, on the exterior the paint is not perfect, it sat in the garage for almost 20 years so it has chips and blemishes, Right rear tail light has a crack, if I was going to keep the car I would paint it. but it looks great from 15 feet and is good driver quality.I think the original color was silver. I have the original books, service stamp records, some registration since 1990, the car was last registered in 1997. When I got it I paid all DMV fee's and put the car in my name, it has a clean California title, all four original porsche alloy wheels are in great condition with no curb rash, no rust, this is a very dry car. "rare find"Things that I did since I bought the car, I had the gas tank drained and cleaned, new plugs, new fuel pump, all filters are new, transmission serviced, new clutch, motor serviced, new oil and fluids, new battery,The car starts on the first turn of the key, drives great, runs strong as a 911 should, shifts great in all gears, I just don't have the time to finnish it. my loss is your gain, these 911's have been climbing the market in price daily.
