1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Euro Roller No Engine No Transmission

Price: - Item location: Canton, Georgia, United States
Description:

1980 Porsche 911

1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Euro roller, clear GA title in my name, VIN WPOZZZ91ZES101809. This is a European VIN and eBay's edits are not recognizing it so I listed it as a "1980" model in the key field to get around this issue. It had a (964) 3.6 conversion but I sold the engine and transmission locally after a minor engine fire. Engine and transmission no longer available so please don’t ask (already sold). Minor cosmetic damage to engine bay (fire burned for no more than 30 seconds before I extinguished it, only physical damage to engine bay was the sound insulation (now removed) partially melting on top of the engine, please see pics. 104,630 miles on the odometer, no idea if it's actual or not but since it's a Euro I'm sure it had some km's on it before coming to USA. Needs paint…factory ruby red metallic w/ failed clearcoat only minor “dents and dings” NO RUST.

I started taking it apart, deciding to sell it piece by piece to maximize my $$$ but I'm reconsidering now and have decided to sell the roller complete as pictured. Carpets were crappy and needed to be replaced regardless so I removed them.

Car had aftermarket “RSR” bodywork with 964 style rocker panels that I removed for another project. All stock bodywork pieces (bumpers, front & rear valances, rocker panels, etc.) have been sourced and are included as pictured.
NO RUST whatsoever, H4 Euro headlights, extra seat included for parts, should be able to obtain 2 good seats by combining various parts from all three seats (see pics). I also have the rear seat fold-down seatbacks “around here somewhere” (but can’t find them now!) but I will find them before the car is delivered to the buyer. Original dash cracked, dash cap included.

The prior previous owner (i.e. the person who sold it to the person I bought it from, I purchased it in Maryland in 2009) was in Florida and a complicated aftermarket A/C system was installed (extra condensors/fans in rear fenderwells etc.) but I have removed it…will include with car if buyer wishes at no additional cost to buyer.

I have some additional pics of the engine compartment showing other views of the damage that I can provide if you’re interested…please contact me and I will send them to you. If you want additional pics of any other areas please ask and I will take them for you...except for the bad paint/clearcoat, and the VERY minor fire damage, the body is in exceptional condition and would be the PERFECT basis for a "no holds barred" resto-mod, RS Carrera backdate, or some other type of "bare metal" project...the kind of project you occasionally see in various Porsche magazines. Along those lines, if you don't want certain items that are on the car (for exampleinterior pieces, body parts, etc.), I'm amenable to crediting the final selling price by an amount mutually agreed to by the buyer and myself as long as we come to an agreement on the amount of the credit BEFORE the auction ends.
I'm a road warrior and out of town quite a bit, so I'm only available on weekends to show the car to prospective buyers or take additional pics. Please don't waste your time or mine if you don't have CASH immediately available to complete the deal! Zero feedback bidders please contact me to establish your bona fides before bidding or I will cancel your bid.

$500 non-refundable deposit via PayPal due within 48 hours of auction close, balance in cash or wire payment to my bank account within seven business days of auction close. Certified bank check acceptable but it will need to clear before car/title are released to buyer.

Shipping is 100% the responsibility of the buyer, pick up from my driveway in Canton, GA 30115. I have a long driveway and my property is on the side of a hill so it would be best to hire a flatbed to haul the car a short distance to a level parking lot for final loading on a transporter.

Thanks for looking!
