1984 Porsche 911 2dr Cabriole
1984 Porsche Carrera Cabriolet. One owner car until 2014 when the current owner purchased the vehicle. Always well cared for and has complete service records since new. The original owner commissioned a complete cosmetic restoration in 2005 that included stripping the body to bare metal and repainting in the original color of Guards Red. There were many pictures taken during the restoration that clearly show an accident and rust free car. Paint alone cost well over $12,000 and was done to show quality standards. Still looks like it was done yesterday with the exception of a few very minor chip touch ups from being driven. Gaps are excellent throughout, floors remain original and solid. All of the weatherstripping was replaced at the time of the repaint. Convertible top was replaced in 2002 and is very nice with the exception of some scratches in the soft window from storage. Interior is very nice throughout, the front seats were redone using correct German Leather covers. Steering wheel leather is dry and could be redone. Dashboard and door panels are in excellent condition. AC was just serviced and blows cold. Front power windows are tinted. The power mirrors do not work and have to be adjusted manually. At 96k Miles the transmission was completely rebuilt and a new clutch was installed at the dealership. The car now has 110k miles on it. The current owner added some decals which are removeable if the new owner prefers. The original 16" fuchs were powdercoated black. The bulletproof 3.2 electronic fuel injected engine runs flawlessly and has excellent power. Unlike most 911's this engine is dry underneath! This car comes with the original manuals, tire pump, original spare,and about a 3" thick folder full of receipts, pictures, and manuals. You will not find a better cared for and maintenance documented Carrera for the money anywhere. Clean Carfax!
