1983 Porsche 911 Cabriolet SC 3.0

For sale is a 1983 Porsche Cabriolet owned by my late husband. He loved this car, and took good care of it. The car runs, and I recently replaced the ignition control unit and the central ignition coil. The body, which was repainted before my husband bought it 8 years ago, is an very good shape. The covertible cover appears to be new. The Porsche has been garaged for the 8 years my husband owned it, and he never drove it in rain or harsh weather.
While the exterior of the car is quite nice, the interior needs work. The original leather front seats remain, but they are in very bad shape and currently have cloth seat covers. The rear seats appear to have been rarely used, but looks tired. The carpet is faded. The dash needs to be replaced. (My husband purchased a really nice replacement leather dash at Carlisle for this car. It is for sale separately on EBay.) I have listed the mileage as 130K plus because the speedmeter was broken for a period of time (it was fixed). My best estimate is that the car has about 135K miles, but obviously I don't know for sure. For that reason, this car is being sold "as is."
As of May 2016, Hagerty's values this car as follows: Fair $17,700, Good $23,100, Excellent $41,200, and Concours $55,300. For someone who wants to fix up the interior, this car would be a terrific investment.
