Porsche : 924 Well, tried to have some fun with selling this fun Porsche last week for a starting bid of $1, ut the higher bidder wrote this to me after I sent her the invoice: "Hi I completely apologize and I have never ever had this happen, ver!!!! My son was bidding under my account! He thought it would be okay and we would purchase for him if he won! I only got the notification when it said "i won the bid"! This is something I can not afford nor have the means to travel to pick up! I sincerely apologize. I can not purchase this car! Please understand and I hop you can re-list it! Again I apologize for the inconvenience! I'm embarrassed! So sorry." As you may imagine, his soured my selling stance, o please, lease, LEASE be sure to watch your eBay accounts so your children do not bid on something they can't pay for and understand that you must follow the eBay rules set forth in my description. It really is the ideal car for someone who wants to get into the Porsche genre and have a great time, hile getting great gas mileage with the 4 cylinder, speed. Or, f someone just wants to add nice BF Goodrich tires and wheels, orgeous seats, fine running drivetrain and extra parts that you often don't find (e.g. original manuals, ool kit, auge cluster, tc.), his might also fit the bill. I'm also letting the vintage 1977 plate go with it (legal in MI), s well as the Blaupunkt stereo. While it definitely could use a paint job and minor body work, he starts, tops, hifts, uns and tacks down the road with absolutely no issues! It's not perfect, ut it's a Porsche and we're hoping that those looking for a great deal will enter the bidding fray.
