Here up for sale is a beautiful 1968 Pontiac GTO. Car has a 400 Motor, auto trans and 10 bolt rear end. Car is a real GTO, 242 vin #. Motor and Trans were all rebuilt not long ago and I have the paperwork. Transmission has a nice shift kit and shifts great. The car was well maintained over the years. Car runs and drives great. You could fly in and drive this car back to California if need be. No issues with anything. Just did a full tune up and all the fluids were changed. Brake are all new front to back. Ready to hit the road and enjoy for the summer. Car has a Pypes exhaust system with electric cutouts installed. Car sounds great either way. There are no noises while driving, no rattles, no squeaks, no burning oil, no smoke, nothing. Car is super tight and handles very well. The body is in great shape. Paint is really nice and presentable. Has a couple small areas with some imperfections from use over the years. Car was driven and enjoyed, not a trailer queen. Has some small bubbling on the bottom of the passenger door. It has been there for years and hasn’t got worse. All body lines are good and gaps are good on the panel fitment. No rust showing anywhere. Car was always stored indoors. As for the floors they are in perfect shape. No rust and no repairs. Floors still have some of the old factory undercoating. Truly shows it being a well kept car all of its life. Trunk floor is also perfect and original. No rot and no repairs. Has some surface stuff on the trunk floor that will clean up from the old rubber mat we just threw away as it was worn out. The interior is in great shape. No rips or tears anywhere. Presents very well. The dash is in great shape. All the electrical items work. Gauges, switches, heat, lights, horn, etc….all in working order. Gauges were upgraded to Dakota Digital for reliability. They were done tastefully, wouldn’t even notice unless you stare at them. There was a new radio installed and placed in the glove box with a remote to control functions while driving. Works great and sounds good. Dash is in nice shape. All glass is in great shape. The suspension is all in working order and has been maintained. The car is truly in great shape and needs nothing but a new owner. It’s a beautiful GTO. The car is listed locally so I have the right to end the auction anytime if it sells.
