1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am with a blueprint stroker 498 7.3L 611HP V8 engine, 30K miles. This is a beautiful car that has no rust whatsoever. It is close to being completely restored. The new headliner needs to be glued in (new headliner included). A new dash cover (optional) will be included. Also comes with two sets of T-tops as one panel of the two sets is cracked. Many parts have been upgraded to high performance, including a brand new Holly fuel injector kit that only got at best 20 miles of use. The interior has been redone, the back seat, and the carpet. New Flywheel. New wiring throughout. New cooling fans, and more. This car was very loved and is only being sold as it was my late husband's new baby and has been sitting in the garage since his passing three years ago, he only had it one year. I know he would not want the car to just sit, it needs to be loved and driven! It will make a great racer with the high HP but still keeps the look and feel of a daily driver (no roll cage). Since it has been sitting in the garage for three years, it will need a new battery, and all fluids changed. The car does have a trans fluid leak, when we replaced the flywheel we were having difficulties with the line up and I would bet that is where the leak is coming from. The car ran great before being parked three years ago. I have a video of it running at that time, which I can email if requested.
