This is a 79 Firebird that has had most of the hard work done but is ready to go to a new home so somebody can finish it up. It has been repainted, it has a rebuilt Chevy 350 in it painted traditional Pontiac blue (vortec motor with vortec heads, full roller motor, brand new stainless headers, brand new aluminum intake, brand new hei distributor, brand new carb, full sepentine belt set up, etc.), turbo 400 transmission (has a slight leak at the shift shaft seal), coil over shocks, new aluminum radiator with new hoses, all new brake pads/rotors/nickle copper lines, fuel lines, frame mounted fuel pump, full new driveshaft and more! The interior is all there and complete (with the exception of the headliner) but needs some work. All electrical and lighting needs to be hooked up, right now we just have a toggle switch wired to the ignition that runs the fuel pump/distributor so that the engine can be started. The car runs and moves under it’s owned power however it has not yet been fully timed, tuned, or road tested. Nice 14 inch aluminum wheels, all tires hold air. Full disclosure, I teach high school automotive and this car was built by high school students. The project has slowed down a bit and the kids don’t seem to be getting those last finishing touches done so it’s time to move on from it. The car can be picked up at my place in Kingston, MI or the school in Caro, MI. I have a clean title in my name and the keys in hand, any questions feel free to ask, thanks for looking!
