Description:

1937 Pontiac Silver Streak 6 Cyl. Dressed As GMAN FBI Car.

NO RESERVE. Listed is this original 1937 Pontiac Silver Streak two door in survivor condition, a very nice Pre War unrestored car. Still retaining its original mohair interior, engine, transmission, rear end, with all 6 volt electricals, rare ribbed Pont Ray tail lights, and one paint job since new. This car is dressed as the FBI GMAN vehicle as seen on their Federal Bureau Of Investigations challenge coin. Original 49,000 mile car, not a roll over speedo. Runs and drives nice for an 87 year old car. It's not all restored and perfect but a nice driver. It has been sitting and not getting driven much the last few years, so time to give it a good home where someone will fix it up even better.Replaced aluminum radiator, carburetor, points, water pump, belt, brake shoes, exhaust, U joints, electric fuel pump, and brake light switch. This winter took a toll on the car with the heavy snow the carport collapsed on top of the car. Lucky it was only paint scratches and no dents since the metal is very thick on the car. Touch up and a buff will bring back the luster of the paint.Needs a new headliner due to mice and some seat stitching due to dry tread loss, their not ripped. The door panels have rips and mice damage. Rear seat has moth damage. Original police light and siren work but wiring needs updating. Speedo squeaks and needs lubricant. Many extra parts are available for purchase, Banjo Wheel, artillery rims, radio, clocks, heater, seats, and boxes of parts. To be offered to buyer.
