1979 Pontiac Firebird Base
Great 1979 Pontiac Firebird that came out of Tennessee so it is very clean and rust free. Nice base FB that sports the Rockford Files coloring of Tan/Gold with a Tan interior. Most of this car has been gone through and is set for a great cruiser and nice car show head turner. Just a sample of what's been done:- repainted 10 years ago in orioginal '79 color, still looks great- new wheels & restored Rally II wheels, with trim rings & center caps- brakes have been inspected and work great- all fluids have been replaced and serviced- new interior: new seat upholstery, carpet, mats, headliner, door panels, hardware- new bluetooth stereo and speaker system installed (retro style)- new rocker moldings, bodyline trim and Firebird emblems- new halogen headlamps and wiring- new restored spare Rally II tire and wheel- underbody and pans have been coated to prevent moisture- newer gas tank, sending unit and fuel pump- newer plugs, wires and spark coil- new dual exhaust and mufflers with waterfall sidepipes**I added a few pics of the bubbles on the car and the dash is dry from the Tennessee sun, so a cap would be good to add.Overall, this is a rarer model because most people want the Trans Ams and Formulas and so this very classy coupe is now harder to find and appreciate. Here is a very solid car, any floor rust has been removed and new metal welded in, any external bad rust was sanded and treated/sealed.
