1979 Pontiac Trans Am car 6.2 engine 403
1979 Pontiac Trans Am Trans Am
I purchased this Trans Am in 2011 as a project car. The car ran well however the interior was in less than good shape. I have probably only driven this car 1000 miles since purchase. The speedometer is not working so the mileage is unknown. In 2015, I had carb rebuilt, EGR replaced, tune-up and other mis work done. 2017 had timing chain gears, water pump, Harmonic Balancer replaced and heater hose.About 6 years ago I had The car painted and the body molding on the sides removed and filled with metal. I wanted a color change from its original brown and had everything painted so that it looks like it was always gold. There is no brown paint on car. I had decals professionally installed.I purchased new interior seat covers in gold cloth like original option. New front seat cushions new seat backs, side panels for back seats, carpet, new door panels, emblems, door rubber for the glass, I had new seals installed on the doors. Headliner is in good condition. I had new pins put on the door hinges. I also have complete set of 4 new door hinges. I have complete screw set for the interior. New power window buttons, kit to install seat covers. I will include old door panels for reference when installing new panels. The interior is a project but everything is there and 90% is new.The paint is in good condition but has a few small chips that could be repaired by a good paint guy. The car runs well and has a new Interstate battery. The tires came with the car and have plenty or tread. The power windows are slow but my thought was to clean the tracks and replace the switch. Power locks are not working. T-Tops are in good shape. There is NO RUST on this car. I just replaced the starter and checked under the car and it is clean. The car is always covered. The title is clean and in my name. I put the car on Non-Op here in California so California buyers will not have delinquent fees. Its a great car and was my dream car since high school but its time for someone else to fulfill their dream I have a very reasonable reserve on this car.$4000.00 deposit due within 24 hours. Balance due within 3 days before pickup. Prefer wire transfer. I will send title certified after payment is made. Car must be picked up within 10 days or make arrangements with me.
