1967 Pontiac Firebird Coupe Blue RWD Manual
1967 Pontiac Firebird
1967 Firebird 326 HO Heavy Duty 3 spd on the floor. All Original Family owned since New. Car was order in May of 1967 at Donkersley Pontiac/Buick in Yuma Arizona by Vietnam Vet Bernard Hopper. Car was special ordered with a bench seat and a Heavy Duty 3 spd that was originaly available with the 400 making it a rare option (see dealer proposal sheet). Bernard took delivery of his car on July 6th 1967. In April of 1968 Bernard while out swinging drowned. His car was then shipped to his parents in New Jersey in May of 1968. I was told his father would only drive the car on Wednesdays to and from work. Once he passed the car then was passed down to his grandson. The car is all original, the paint shows its age and the car has very little rust on both front fenders. Interior is mint I can’t believe how great it looks for its age. Car has only 21,800 original miles on it number’s matching original drive train. As you can see the car still has the Yuma proving ground stickers on the front and rear bumpers. Car will come with it’s original rally wheels only took them off because the tires were old, did not want to drive to car shows on them. Car has never been in an accident all sheet metal is original floors/trunk are solid. Feel free ask for any additional photos or questions. Motor and transmission have had no work ever done to them. This car is a time capsule it is in the exact condition it came out of the factory unmolested.
