1970 Pontiac GTO Convertible 400 Ram Air III 4 Speed 3.55 Safe-T-Trac. Protect-O-Plate, Buildsheet, PHS Documentation. Very Original, Numbers Matching car. 88,000 believed to be Original Miles. Cardinal Red with a White Convertible Top and Black Bucket Seat and Console Interior (75 A & 258). Built 2nd week of October ‘69 at the Fremont, California Assembly Plant. Sold new at L&D Pontiac in Marengo, Iowa. Bought by the 2nd Owner in the early 70’s who owned it into the 80’s. The car was tracked down and purchased by his son 5 years ago. Interior is Original to the car and has never been refinished. Very well optioned car including: U30 Auxiliary Gauges and Tachometer, N34 Sport Steering Wheel, T42 Ram Air Hood, UA1 HD Battery, N10 Dual Exhuast, A02 Tinted Glass, Power Convertible Top, etc. All 5 Coded and Dated 14x6 Rally II Wheels including the Spare that matches. Runs and Drives excellent. Combination of the 2.52 First Gear, 3.55 Posi, and the 400 make for an incredible running car. M20 Muncie Shifts like butter. L74 400 Engine is very strong, starts right up and runs smooth through all the gears. The paint is quality throughout. Interior is 9/10 survivor condition. Convertible Top is excellent. Undercarriage has some blemishes but is absolutely rust and rot free. Floor Pans and Trunk Pan are solid. Everything works inside and out. All lights work including Turn Signals and Interior/Dash Lights.
