1991 PONTIAC FIREBIRD 454 BBC T-TOPS
1991 Pontiac Firebird
Up for sale is a 1991 Pontiac Firebird with a 454 and 700R4 transmission. Originally the car had a 305 throttle body injection. The car was recently stripped down painted base clear and is of 2022 Toyota burgundy in color. All the accents are powder coated gold as the name of the car I call Goldie.The motor is stock pretty much with gear drive timing chain and Compcams Big Mutha Thumoer camshaft. As you can see in the pictures she is a beautiful car and wins trophies at car shows. The tranny is a 700R4 with a 2800 to 3000 stall converter and the car has a Posi rear end out of a GTA. The car is a t-tops and will need windows adjusted and seals to make water tight as it does not sit outside and its garaged at all times.. The car shows really nice in person to as well. It sits in my garage and I only drive and hardly gets driven as I trailer it to car shows but will drive as the shows are normally 40 miles away from home. What all I could get powder coated is in gold. If its not gold its chrome and their after is painted. The car will need minor work as the tranny dipstick leak as I had to fight with it going in and will need a Lockhart style dipstick. The hood has a little cracking due to the breather close to hoood as the motor is huge. Not sure of a shake/vibration as the exhaust is a little close to torsion bar in the rear at high RMP's as it may have the wrong flex plate but the motor runs fine, I would change but I have landed back issues and have no lift to do. The motor is out of an RV and is only cammed and timing set. The radiator is custom to cool the big block and has dual high CFM fans to as well. All of the interior is new, carpet as well but no sun visors. The car has no A/C or Heat as this is a Florida car and not sure of any other states the car has been in. The body had minimal rust and if was corrected at the time of being paitient. This car is only being sold due to I have to many hot rods and want a bigger down payment for us for a new RV. The car has true 3" exhaust from engine to back. Headers was not used due the limited space of fram rails as they do make but did not want to fight with so I powder coated the exhaust manifolds to compensate for. I am thinking of the cons off the top of my head for you guys. The car has staggered 19" inch Aodhan wheels that has non bolt on spacer at 1/4 inch to push wheels out just a little. Allot of money was put in the build of this car. It will need little things here and there but mostly is complete.
