1986 Pontiac Firebird TRANS AM

1986 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, black, 350 V8, 5 speed, posi rear, T-Tops, power locks+windows. Has 4 wheel disc brakes on lowered springs with 17” Chrome wheels. Has JEGS subframe connectors bolted+welded in along with a front UMI “wonder bar.” Hood I replaced with the “power bulge” hood (I made vent and installed grill in the scoop), and rear wing I replaced the ugly rubber one with a fiberglass one from a 92 formula T/A. Has lower gfx as well. Also has hidden front license plate holder. ENGINE: 350 4 bolt main (87-95) w/crane cam, new timing chain/gears, Holley double pumper carburetor w/ manual choke, Weiend Speed Warrior intake, hedman headers, MSD full ignition system (I added dizzy kill switch), valve covers, chrome genuine GM timing cover, custom painted air cleaner lid on top of corvette dropped base, aluminum 2 core radiator, new HEI distributor w/clear cap and rotor, alternator, water pump, harmonic balancer, high torque starter, high volume oil pump, plugs, msd wires, all new gaskets+seals. New in-tank fuel pump +filter with Jegs fuel pressure regulator. Has very good oil pressure, uses Driven 10w40 conventional oil made with added zinc for cam and wear. Has mechanical fan and Syclone electric fan, runs very cool. Has no AC, but I left the compressor on the motor. TRANSMISSION: Borg Warner T-5 (5 speed), with new seals and center force clutch set and flywheel. REAR END: Borg Warner 9 bolt posi-traction with fresh 75w140 fluid. EXHAUST: Hedman coated headers with 3 inch custom bent pipe all the way back to the Hooker Aerochamber muffler with dual chrome tips. I have owned this car for over 4 years, and have put tons of money and time into it. Recently inspected in September. Basically rebuilt it mechanically. Paint is not perfect as it’s an older car, but it’s decent. Interior is nice, everything works except the speedometer(transmission swap, I used a gps for speed), Car was a 305 automatic, it is now a 350 5 Speed stick. Everything works on the car and is very fun to drive for an 86. Underneath is undercoated with Fluid Film. Still has t top bag in the back, along with a rare cargo cover. Has power antenna(works as it should), made a custom sub box and wiring is back there for a sound system (nice and hidden under cargo cover.) Has all 4 new speakers. LED red interior lights, LED headlights. I added a dual usb charger in center console for phones, etc. This car is nice in car shows when all cleaned up. Again, this is not a perfect car, it’s old and I’ve been fixing it up as I go (my own work by myself), but she’s solid. I bought it needing a lot of work and most of it is done. But it is definitely a sharp ride. Could be a good Knight Rider KITT candidate. I have extra parts that go with it, like the original Pontiac wheels, hood, and maybe a few other things, also comes with car cover.
