1977 Pontiac Grand Prix

The 1977 Pontiac Grand Prix was the last of the line of “big” personal luxury muscle cars by Pontiac. This example is the very desirable SJ sport edition. These were famous for being a great driving road car. It features the very capable 400 cu. in. Pontiac V8 engine mated with the sturdy 400 Turbo-Hydro transmission. In addition to the classy looking black & silver paint scheme, it has the original optional aluminum “snowflake” wheels that really set the car off. The underside of the car is in amazing condition for a vehicle of this vintage

This vehicle is not a restored car. It is a well preserved original “survivor”. It was purchased new from the famous Bill McDavid Pontiac in Fort Worth Texas by a lady who worked in the dealership office. It has had two lady owners over the years who loved, babied & cared for the car as something very special. It has not been driven in snow or salt & very seldom even in rain. It is now time for it to go to a new caretaker, who will enjoy & appreciate it.
