1963 Pontiac Catalina Convertible Restored 389 V-8 Beautiful

Description: Beautiful 1963 Pontiac Catalina convertible in a sapphire blue metallic and matching light blue & white interior. This is an older ‘frame-on’ complete restoration and color change from approximately 15 years ago. Original mileage is believed to be the 61,000 showing on the odometer and the driveline is also matching to the car. Pontiac’s 389-cu. in., 2-barrel V-8 rated at 215 h.p. backed by the “Roto-Hydramatic” automatic transmission with 2.56:1 open rear differential gears.

The present owner purchased the car about 11 years ago and added dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers, a new gas tank, 15” tires (approximately 5 years old), and a new top.

Factory options include power brakes (updated dual master cylinder) and power steering.

For the age of the restoration, it is in fantastic shape. The paint is in excellent condition with only one small area showing a couple of bubbles (see photo). All of the floors are solid, including the trunk. The chrome is in good to excellent condition both inside and outside the car. All lights, turn signals, and windows operate easily. No fogging is evident around any of the glass.

The interior looks fresh with new carpeting, dash pad, upholstery, and door panels. All the factory gauge’s function including the radio and heat. As you can see from the video, the top functions easily and a white ‘boot’ is included. There is even a chrome Pontiac Kleenex container under the dashboard.

The Catalina drives great and draws attention wherever it goes.
