1982 Pontiac Trans Am

1982 Pontiac Trans Am Recaro Edition. Bought the car as a daily driver in 1994. The engine was rebuilt professionally in 95 by an engine rebuild shop. in 2000, it started having overheating problems and became a secondary car for me. 2005 was last time it was inspected and used. I stored this in my shop hoping to completely restore someday. At some point I tried to restart and could not get anything from it. Years of sitting have not been kind. The previous owner painted the car himself and by his word there was no body damage prior to the paint job. now there is a small ding on the nose of the hood and the paint is starting to ripple in places. The last time I tried moving the car, the rear axle would not move freely. It would only roll a foot or so and then lock up, that is why the rear is on the dolly. The tires have low mileage but are now pretty old. and one valve stem is leaking keeping air from holding. The AC never worked which is why i pulled the pump, but it is there. It has been inside and tarped since 2005.
IMPORTANTThe odometer stopped working at some point. According to the shop, there is a stripped gear somewhere. He replaced it and it stripped out again. So the mileage is NOT accurate.
This is a great project car for someone. I am selling as is! No warranty, guaranty, etc. Buyer has to make all arrangements to pick up and transport.
This car is stored about an hour drive away from me. If you have questions I can answer without going out and looking at it, I will respond to you. No offense, but I'm not going to drive an hour just so you can know what brand of shocks are on it.
