For your consideration, we have a 1971 Pontiac Catalina, numbers matching, gorgeous excellent driver!This amazing 88,353 original mile car is equipped with the 400 Pontiac V-8 and turbo hydra-matic 3 spee, automatic transmission, power steering, and air conditioning. This Catalina is color code 42 Limekist Green, with newer black vinyl top, and sports an older approximately 7-8 year old repaint in its original color. The paint job is nice driver quality, on a super straight, rust free body, and still look’s gorgeous!This awesome Catalina has an exceptionally solid, rust, free undercarriage, frame, body,and trunk. This amazing Pontiac sports all of its original sheet metal.This car presents extremely well and can be enjoyed as a daily driver, and is nice enough to be taken to local car shows as is.Mechanically, the car has received thorough regular maintenance over the years. Under the hood is clean, but could usea little detailing. More recent upgrades include newer shocks, springs, water pump. High performance aluminum radiator, hoses, tuneup, dual exhaust, and misc brake work. It seems lot of upgrading was done to the air conditioning system, but currently the compressor is disconnected. (We did not look into repairing this at all, but would be happy to quote the work out if desired.)This Catalina has new 15 inch Keystone wheels and new Cooper Cobra tires with approximately 250 miles. Overall this Catalina runs and drives just like new.The interior is dark jade and looks fantastic. It is difficult to tell if the seat upholstery is original or newer reproduction as it appears nearly perfect. The headliner is flawless, the door panels and dash are all in nearly flawless condition as well.The carpet is showing a bit of age but still looks very good also.Turn signals, interior, lights, horn, exterior lights, in good, working condition.The original radio does not work, but this may be a fuse, we didn’t check. There is a fancy aftermarket radio installed under the dash as shown in the pics. Also, the fuel gauge only works intermittently so will most likely need the sending unit replaced. (We can quote this if desired) All windows and glass is functional and in very good condition. These 2 door Catalinas are getting super hard to find in this condition. This original 88K mile time capsule is ready to hit the local shows or simplybe enjoyed as is.
