1977 trans am y82 se w72 hurst ttops project one owner

1977 Pontiac Trans Am

For auction or sell super rare 1977 "bandit" y82 trans am se with w72 option one registered owner had the car its whole life untill first of the year .it is a big project that needs a complete restorationbut a good candidate for it .this is a very rare y82 with the w72 option from the factory although theengine in the car isn't theoriginal w72 num matching one.(but i have located a pontiac parts guy that has one he will sell that would make the car "correct") .it is a 78 L78 400 in it now im told .it runs good and is a lot driver .meaning it could run up the road but car isnt road worthy like it sits. but will drive around and load on a trailer fine and stop. ive put serveral new parts on the car new starter master cylinderand front brake hoses .engine should probly be gone thru if restoring .car but doesnt smoke or rattle.it will need exhaust as it has none just some short pipes off manifolds and the water pump is leaking pretty bad and will need replacing.as far as the body it needs the usual floor pan work and rear seat and it will prob need a trunk pan the car sat outside for years with leaky ttop seals and trunk seal . .the passenger side quarter panel has been replaced with a full new one but it will need to be finished as it is just tacked in place now.the drivers side quarter could probly use the same .there is some rust on rear window package tray area from glass leaking and the inner rear rock valancepanel behind rear bumper has some holes but outer is solid one trunk drop seems ok and the other may need replacing.frame rails are fine as are rockers .wheel wells are solid .driver door seems pretty useable passenger side has one spot could use a patch trunk lid is solid and hood is usuable. one fender is perfect the other pass side has one small bad spot car has been in tenn its whole life but was bought new in lasvegas by original owner .cars def a major project but its a 6 figure car if done right and its affordable build as u get the money car and has a great pedigree i do havethe phs email packet on the car as well .i can foward to any serious buyers .as far as interior it will need alot of work to be a show car it could use seat covers door panels carpet seals dash fixed.guages dont work think its a bad connection (havent got it checked out yet ).most the ext lights do work the power windows dont work and are up.most of the ac stuff is still there minusthe compressor and one bracket .as i said car is pretty ruff from being neglected for years but she deserves a full resto and will make a beutiful car !ithe orginal hurst ttop bag is still there but its stiff .also have the spare tire for it .i have a ton of pics top to bottom of the car i can send if seriius and need more just send me a message here and ill get them to you.i do have the car locally for sale so it does have a price just not letting it go for less than its worth these are highly collectible cars! so if serious send me message and well talk.
