1989 Pontiac Firebird TRANS AM

Hello are you were looking at a nice 1989 Pontiac Trans Am, GTA. The car has automatic transmission, the corvette tpi 5.7 L/350 cid v8 engine. It has new distributor, battery, spark plugs, fresh oil change, new mass airflow sensor, coolant temp sensor, and IAC. The car runs and drives good, and could use a little more tuning and tinkering. I’ve driven the car about 20 miles.

I replaced the T top seals and installed new headliner from classic industries.

This car has been sitting for a little while and I decided to get it going for someone else to enjoy. I’m not familiar with these cars and I could not find the RPO codes. From what I can see the vehicle has subframe connectors, a JET performance chip in it. The catalytic converter was removed. The engine does sound like it may be a mild build, but I do not know for sure.

This vehicle is at the crossroads for someone to take it and enjoy it and keep tinkering with it. it would be a great project for a younger car nut to play with. All the parts are still plentiful for this car to keep it going for a long time. Or take the step and turn it into a full-blown drag car, pro touring car, LS swap, project car, etc. The body is rot free and appears to be solid. There are miscellaneous dings and scratches on the body has to be expected. The rear wing has a lot of cracked paint due to the 80s plastic It’s made out of. The tires have lots of tread but are older and should be replaced. Car just needs a good home.

This car is not a museum piece, but a good solid toy to have some fun with. I have a Pennsylvania title in hand. it does say reconstructed on the top. Date of issue on the title is 9/20/2000 there is a PA inspections sticker from 2013 on the car. so this car has been a registered PA car for over 23 years.

Please don't waste my time or yours with offers if you have no intention of picking up the car. If I accept your offer you have 12hr to make a $500 non refundable PayPal deposit. or i will relist the car. we can do cash when you pick it up or wire transfer if you are having it picked up.

Any questions please ask.

Thanks Chris
