Items Worth Noting:I just had the front urethane nose repaired and painted (it had the common age surface cracking) and I added a original Pontiac twin scoop formula hood (fully functional) and had it also painted. I have the original flat hood. The buyer will have the choice of one hood (the original flat hood or the Formula hood). A new OER rear spoiler is INCLUDED with the car..and is already painted to match. (The car is so clean and solid I could NOT bring myself to to drill holes in the quarter panels and the trunk lid for the installation. I prefer the aesthetics of the car without a rear spoiler) The car looks to have maybe been re-painted the original color once in its life. I would consider it "driver quality" paint. Door window felts are worn. The door arm rests have some surface cracks. Interior rear sail panels are getting brittle. The top of the rear seats are showing some cracking from the sun. The A/C was disconnected during its life but looks to be all there. This Firebird Esprit is really nice for its age. It’s 53 years old and can provide many more years of enjoyment to a new owner.
These early early birds look and handle so well. This is a great "Get in and Drive Car".Starts right up and after warming up it runs and drives very nice.It really is a pleasure cruising around town in this Firebird. It gets thumbs up and attention everywhere it goes.It is in very very good condition for its age, It has been in New Mexico / Arizona for most of its life. It is a very Clean and what I would consider a rust free rust car. I've never owned a cleaner one. It still has all of its original panels, fenders, doors, floors and trunk pan.
Not a perfect show car in any way but a nice vintage collectable Pontiac to enjoy, to improve on and to invest in.These 2nd Gen Firebirds are great investments and highly desireable, especially in this condition.
This Firebird had been in long term storage in New Mexico before I aquired it. For the past year I have been investing in it and enjoying it here in South Florida. I believe I am the 3rd owner. It gets a lot of attention when out and about.
The paint is what I would call “driver quality”.The body and paint has minor flaws, Some laquer checking, dings, small touch ups and blemishes in the finish. A professional cut and buff detail would probably help out the overall appearance. I happen to like the patina it has.
Enjoy the car as is with its smooth running original 350 V8 as is or take it to the next level with a bigger displacement 400 or 455...

This car would be a perfect donor car for a high end Trans Am restoration or maybe a Trans Am clone or a Formula clone?The body is so solid.
