This is a very solid appearing California car that needs some love. It would be a great car for a complete restoration, a hot rod project, or a resto-mod build. This would be an ideal car to make into a Bandit clone and these cars also make for great LS swaps!The photos really tell the story - please see the link above for numerous full size photos!
The car starts, runs, and drives but hasn't been driven regularly in a while. It was recently pulled out of storage and it only needed a battery, fuel pump, and some fresh gas to get it running again. It needs to be checked over thoroughly and any issues addressed as necessary to make sure it is fully road worthy. While the items that need attention seem to me to be relatively minor, there are enough of them that I am listing this as a project. With just a little TLC though this has the potential of being a really fun car. I have mentioned the things that I've noticed in the listing and/or photographed them (see link to photo gallery above).
Overall the paint is shiny and very presentable but it is not a show car paint job. I noticed, for example, that the window trim was not removed for the repaint (it was taped up) and shows some sanding scratches and primer over spay from prep. The edge of the driver side door has a dent (see photo).
The factory air conditioning appears to be all there. I assume the system will need a charge and it may also need other repairs.
The odometer reads 18,608 miles - I assume it has rolled over. On a recent drive I noticed the speedometer is not currently working.
The matching red interior is a great look in these old cars. Overall the interior is presentable but does show some wear and tear and is a little dirty. I've notice that some of the plastic is dry, brittle, and discolored from the sun. The dash has some cracks. The horn is not working and neither are the windshield wipers.

The tires have plenty of tread but are old and may be flat spotted from sitting. I believe either a brake caliper or wheel cylinder is frozen, probably from sitting for a few years. The car still moves (as you can see in the video) and the brakes do work so it won't be a problem to load the car onto a trailer or transporter.
