Vehicle Details1966 Pontiac tempest station wagon. Rare, unmolested original car wearing mostly original paint with great patina.
Car has the original OHC-6 cylinder engine and manual three speed transmission (column shift)
The car runs and drives, but needs some work if you were to make it into a daily driver. My intent was to replace the six-cylinder and three speed with a V-8 and four speed Muncie, so I never put work into it.
The car is exceptionally straight. All glass is original and in good condition. It has some rust in the foot wells and those areas will need to be replaced. There is also evidence of rust, Bondo and repainted areas on the bottom of the quarter panels (typical). The lower corner of the driver side windshield are shows evidence of rust. The frame is 100% solid and other than those areas mentioned there is no evidence of rust in the body.
The car is located in Grants Pass Oregon (97526). Inspections are welcome. I can hold the car and meet your transporter if it is to be shipped.
