Matching numbers 1970 formula 400 4 speed. There were only 2777 formula 4 speed made that year. Of those only approx. 400 would come with the special order Coronado Gold paint. What i know about the car is Im the 3rd owner. Original owner bought new in Washington and sold it aprox. 3 years ago. According to the 2nd owner, he had it for a short time, the engine was rebuilt. New clutch and brakes ect. That checks out as they are new. Since them i have invested approx, $20K doing the following, New Ralley rims. New BF Goodrich radial tires 15'', had 14. Rebuilt original Rochester quadra jet. New 3.08 posi gears. Had very low gears. New exhaust system. Added Ram Air exhaust manifolds. New Vintage A/C. New Classic Radio with amp and speakers. New paint. Added rear spoiler.1970 did not have that option. Tuned by local Pontiac specialty race shop. New front grill. New Legendary complete interior. Seats, Carpet and Door Panels. Added sound proofing. Head liner in excellent condition. Added power brakes, came as manual. Added Ralley gauges and Tach. Chrome bezels and lenses and alot more. Firebird is rust free and has original undercoating. You can see the floors were in excellent shape and still had the original insulation on them when i removed the carpet . Runs really well but like any 50 plus year old car it has a couple minor issues. Tach is a little off, may need calibrated. Speedo is off by about 5 mph, not sure why it came that way so assuming gear. 2 very small imperfections in paint, i would say paint is 8 out of 10. Very good driver quality, not show. I have any of the original parts removed. Matching numbers- Block- 9799914, its a WT stamped block. Intake- 9799068. Heads- j179. Muncie m20 trans- poc11a. Trans case- 3925661. Tail housing- 3857584
